Witch Hollow and the Dryad Princess

Thus, the 3rd book of the "Witch Hollow" series does not only have a title, but also a cover.
Witch Hollow and the Dryad Princess will be available at the end of summer.

Here's a sketch I had made, and this is how I imagined a Dryad Princess might look.

And this is what came out of my sketch. Still needs a few alterations, but I couldn't help sharing it with you.

Don't forget that your opinion matters.
Tell me what you think of the cover.

Egyptian Gods awakened?

Continuing the Ancient Egypt theme.
Here's an excerpt from an article about a moving statue in Manchester Museum:

Statuette no. 9325 doesn't appear to go by any proper name. It's a prefabricated figure -- an off-the-shelf product -- that was placed into a small tomb around 1800 B.C.

A private collector in Britain donated it to the museum in 1933. The inscription on the back, requesting a sacrifice of beer, bread and animals, was a standard prayer for the deceased.

For decades, the figurine stood perfectly still -- until museum workers moved its case a few feet from its original position.

In February, curator Campbell Price noticed something curious was afoot.

The statue seemed to have slightly turned.

When he looked next, it was facing another direction. A day later, another.

The turns were subtle. But at the end of each day, you could tell the statue was angled differently.

I like everything supernatural and love to write about it, but I am more than sure this has to do with physics. And still, it's fascinating. Physics has always been somehting incredible to me. Love it. And love mysteries.

So what is this? An ancient curse? Or have the Egyptian Gods been awakened?

Uncovered Egyptian town

This is so interesting.
I have always been in love with the history of Ancient Egypt and its mythology, and with the Pharaoh Amenhotep the 4th (more famous as Akhenaton). For some reason I think I have known that Pharaoh in my previous life (frankly, I don't really believe in reincarnation, but who knows).
Anyone who loves Ancient Egypt will find this article fascinating.

Excavation uncovers ancient Egyptian town in northern Egypt

An excavation mission carried out by the Ministry of State for Antiquities has uncovered the remains of an ancient Egyptian town dating back to the Middle Kingdom from approximately 2000 BC to 1700 BC, which were discovered at the Hyksos fort at Tel El-Yahoud area in Qalioubiya governorate in northern Egypt.  The excavation mission had been resumed after a period of inactivity which began after the January 2011 revolution.
